What we are

Searchingone Plumbing is a referral service. That is all. We connect homeowners in Gary and the Gary area with independent providers for emergency plumbing, drain cleaning, and sewer line repair.

We do not do the repairs. The provider does.

Why this exists

Plumbing trouble hits fast. Water on the floor. A drain that will not move. A smell from the basement. Most people do not have a plumber's number saved.

So they search, and the results are a mess. Searchingone Plumbing cuts through it. You tell us the problem. We point you to a provider in our network.

How matching works

You describe the job. That might be a blocked pipe, a leak, or a sewer backup. We route your request to a local provider who handles that kind of work.

Availability varies. Many providers can respond quickly, but hours differ from one to the next. Request a callback to check provider availability.

What we expect from providers

We ask providers in our network to do a few basic things:

  • Explain the problem in plain words
  • Give a written quote before major work starts
  • Be clear about what drives the price
  • Treat the homeowner's questions as normal

Providers are independent. They hold their own licenses and insurance where local rules require them. Ask to see proof if it matters to you.

What we do not do

We do not send anyone to your door. We do not set prices. We do not do the work. We do not decide what you should pay.

We also do not promise what an insurance policy will cover. Some policies may cover sudden damage. Check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.

How the money works

You pay the provider for the work. Nothing more. Providers in our network may pay a referral fee to be listed. That does not change your quote, and it does not oblige you to hire anyone.

Prices, plainly

Costs vary by job. In the U.S., a basic drain clearing often lands in the low hundreds. A sewer line repair can run into the thousands, depending on depth, length, and access. Frozen ground can add time.

Quote in writing. Every time.

After the repair

The job is not finished when the water drains. Ask the provider what caused it. Ask what to do next. Simple habits help, like keeping grease out of drains and testing your sump pump before spring.

Fix it, then protect it.
